This was the first ad I ever worked on, while still a bright-eyed intern at Saatchi & Saatchi in New Zealand. There’s nothing like your first ad, and there’s nothing like having your creative directors ask you to come up with a list of 100 ways a cat could be injured in the pursuit of getting a ride in a Toyota Corolla.

Feels good inside

The 2013 Toyota Corolla was one of the most cozy, comfortable, welcoming vehicles the brand had created. To make that clear, we thought about who really hates being in cars—and showed how the new Corolla could convert even them.
